Muscadines are a grape native to North America. They are from here and they grow here.
Muscadines are extra-ordinary producers, and grow in places too hot for many grapes. If you want grapes and you live south of Virginia, give them some thought.
I first found muscadines growing on a fence post at a Holiday Inn Express, loaded with fruit. I picked two gallons and made incredible jelly with it. Once I saw what they could do with NO HELP FROM NOBODY I knew they were for me.
